As part of the KAS Young Scholars for Excellence programme in the Malaysia office, our new scholars from the 2025/2026 batch participated in a half-day workshop titled “LinkedIn for Emerging Professionals: Maximising LinkedIn for Career Success,” on 16 November 2025.
The interactive session guided participants through building a credible professional presence online, from optimising their LinkedIn profiles and developing personal brands to crafting meaningful engagement strategies that reflect their values and career aspirations.
Through practical exercises and reflective discussions, scholars gained a deeper understanding of how to use LinkedIn as a tool to tell their professional story, expand networks, and position themselves for future opportunities.
The workshop was facilitated by Nina Sharil Khan, entrepreneur and digital branding coach, whose insights on authenticity and strategic visibility inspired participants to view LinkedIn not just as a platform, but as a space for purposeful leadership and growth.
This training forms part of our ongoing commitment to preparing our KAS Scholars for life beyond academia, nurturing them into confident, responsible, and future-ready leaders.
