Focus on FAME is a collection of scientific texts written by 12 members of the Forum for Africa Media Educators (FAME). Therein they discuss the current challenges facing African media educators. FAME is an initiative of the Media Programme and the Witwatersrand University. Gaol: to establish an African network of excellent media institutes and promote the exchange of ideas with German journalism schools. The texts were presented at the World Journalism Educators Conference in July 2010.
