Summer School of Investigative Reporting 2014 - Media Programme Southeast Europe

Journalists with a special interest in investigative reporting and international cooperation in this field are welcome to apply.
The Summer School offers several skill-building panels with focus on techniques for investigating corruption as well as data journalism and cross-border investigation in the Balkans.
Lead trainer is the Washington correspondent for the Guardian, Paul Lewis. Panellists are Marcus Lindemann, expert in computer-assisted reporting from Germany, Miranda Patrucic, investigative reporter and regional editor at the Organized Crime & Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), Paul Radu, the director of OCCRP, and other international experts.
A limited number of full scholarships will be available to journalists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia with at least three years of experience in journalism. These will be awarded on a merit and need basis and may additionally cover up to €100 in travel cost.
Applications for scholarships must be received by 25 July 2014.
Standard applications (for no scholarship applicants) must be received by 12 August 2014.
