ZEG is Georgian and means the day after tomorrow. About 800 national and international media experts gathered in Georgia's capital Tbilisi to participate in a special kind of media conference: actors met reporters, musicians discussed with filmmakers, editors-in-chief tried to speak to representatives of Big Tech. How will the media world look like the day after tomorrow? KAS Media South East Europe participated in this event in mid June, which was dominated by the question how to counter Russian influence. With what means to stop the malign influence of big tech companies with little or no understanding for what media should and could be in a society? Under the far-sighted leadership of renown Georgian journalist Natalia Antelava KAS Media South East Europe was proud to be part of this event, together with participants and panelists Kristina Atovska from North Macedonia and Adelin Petrisor from Romania.
