Namibia is most generously endowed with natural resources required for (renewable) energy supplies, especially in regard to the resources from the sun, wind and biomass from invader bush. KAS has committed itself to contribute to the discourse on Namibia’s energy future. The study is an overview of the different aspects of Namibia’s energy future, focusing on the country’s electricity sector, and the role that renewable energies as well as energy efficiency measures could play.
