Some of the speakers and guests engaged into a panel discussion on the topic of "What are the characteristics that should be reflected in the education system to adress the issues identified?"
Dr. Bernd Althusmann, Head of the KAS office Namibia & Angola, deliverd a welcoming speech to the participants.
The event was well visited and brought together numerous stakeholder from various branches of the educational sector.
Some teacher's student from UNAM also participated in the event.
After their presentations, the participants got the chance to engage with the speakers and ask questions.
The event "Opportunities for the Namibian Youth - The role of education" brought together various stakeholders and experts from the educational sector as well as from the Ministry and looked at chances and challenges in regards to the Namibian Educational System as well as the Namibian Youth. Speakers were

- Mandela Kapere (NYC): Education and Global Village
- Christopher Olivier (TUCSIN): A Blended Future
- Ndeuli Hamatumwa (Entrepreneuer): Developing Entrepreneurs
The conference took place at the Safari Court Hotel in Windhoek and hosted roughly 100 participants.
