The parliamentary elections in Colombia have reshaped the political landscape. Unclear majorities characterize the new Congress. Colombians were also called upon to select candidates for the presidential elections through primaries. Here, the center‑right camp gained new momentum thanks to the unexpectedly strong performance of Paloma Valencia.
