Strengthening the capacity of the MPs

Within the framework of the excellent continuous cooperation, KAS and Party Research and Analytical Centre "Ljubisha Georgievski" are organizing an event intended for the MPs from VMRO-DPMNE, with the aim of advanced training to improve communication skills with the public, openness and transparency. The event will take place from 16 to 18 February in Ohrid.

As its fundamental commitment, the KAS strives to support the political representatives of the citizens in the highest representative bodies for increasing their capacities, accountability, transparency and offering measures and policies to deal with challenges.

The three-day event will address topics such as building a vision and leadership and transition to the new parliamentary group after the elections, parliamentary procedures and elections, the role of the MPs in communication and cooperation within constituencies, creating and sharing key communication messages, successful access for public speaking in interviews and public debate, as well as developing strategies and approaches to digital media.

The training seminar will be opened by Daniel Braun, Official representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the attendees will be also addressed by Hristijan Mickoski, President of VMRO-DPMNE; Marion Walsmann, Member of the European Parliament and Stefan Andonovski, Secretary for International Cooperation of VMRO-DPMNE.

Gjorgia Sajkoski, Secretary General of VMRO-DPMNE, Vice Presidents of VMRO-DPMNE Aleksandar Nikoloski, Gordana Dimitrieska Kocoska, Vlado Misajloski and Timco Mucunski, the coordinator of the parliamentary group of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Micevski and the deputy coordinators Dafina Stojanoska and Eli Panova, will give their presentation to the attendees, as well as journalists and digital media experts will organize round table discussions and workshops.
