Publication of an Informational Booklet for the Nazaha-Certificate for Good Governance - Foundation Office Palestinian Territories
Single title
The booklet explains the application process and the awarding procedures of the NGO-Certificate. NGOs have to prove their transparency by the use of auditor’s reports, certification papers or annual reports and other financial statements. A local jury decides on the awarding of the certificate after it has finished its examination.
The criterions of the certification process have been worked out in cooperation with representatives of Palestinian NGOs and are based on the Code of Conduct. The participating NGOs committed themselves to the Code of Conduct within the Nazaha-project.
The Nazaha-Project is a joint initiative of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Ramallah and its Palestinian partner AMAN (Coalition for Accountability and Integrity) to strengthen the civil society by fighting corruption and improving transparency in the NGO-sector. AMAN is the Palestinian national chapter of Transparency International.
