KAS Philippines warmly introduces the Social Media Campaign Toolkit, a practical, step-by-step guide designed to help aspiring leaders and candidates of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections. Grounded in the Philippine digital context—where social media plays a central role in public discourse—the toolkit shows how candidates can use online platforms not just for visibility, but for genuine connection, trust-building, and civic engagement.
We have invited Marc Paolo Calalang and Clara Marie Schröder to share their experiences in creating branding and narratives, as well as in running social media campaigns, respectively. This publication is the outcome of two Ready, Set, Win workshops organized by KAS Philippines to create potential challengers in the upcoming local elections.
This publication is intended for:
- Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) candidates and aspirants
- Youth leaders and first-time candidates
- Campaign volunteers and community organizers
It is beneficial for those who want to communicate clearly, ethically, and with purpose.
As you prepare for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, we wish you clarity, resilience, and conviction. May this toolkit support your efforts to engage your communities meaningfully and strengthen democratic participation at the local level.
Good luck in your campaign journey!
