Supporting talented young people who have the potential to become future leaders in their countries is one of the key priorities of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. For this reason, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Poland offers a scholarship programme for outstanding students at Polish universities.
We are looking for candidates who:
- have completed at least their first year of studies,
- have achieved outstanding academic results during their studies and in their secondary school final examinations,
- are Polish citizens enrolled full-time at a public university in Poland,
- are under the age of 26.
In addition, candidates should:
- demonstrate social and political engagement (e.g. through activities in political, social, cultural or church organisations),
- identify with the principles of Christian democracy,
- be willing to participate in seminars organised within the scholarship programme and in other activities of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
Scholarship holders receive:
- a monthly scholarship of PLN 2,000 (gross),
- the opportunity to participate in seminars, conferences and other events,
- the opportunity to complete an internship at the Warsaw office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
Application documents should include:
- a CV in Polish and either German or English,
- a motivation letter in Polish and either German or English (maximum two pages),
- a letter of recommendation from an academic staff member at the applicant's university confirming the applicant's academic qualifications,
- a personal reference letter (for example from a former teacher),
- a copy of the student ID card,
- an official transcript of records.
