The project aims at enhancing the independence, increasing the efficiency and transparency of the judicial institutions in Macedonia and Albania by promoting the establishment of a platform for conducting stakeholder satisfaction surveys.

Macedonia has taken important steps towards reforming its judiciary in line with EU requirements. The High Level Accession Dialogue has led to a sharper focus on, and delivery of, EU-related reforms. However, greater attention needs to be placed on ensuring the judicial independence, efficiency as well as transparency of judicial institutions.
