This year marks the eleventh edition of the German-Romanian Media conference organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bucharest in cooperation with Deutsche Welle and for the first time The Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The conference aims to bring together media representatives, practitioners and experts for an exchange of ideas and experiences in order to discuss
shared European challenges.
This year’s topic focusses on “Strengthening Resilience in Times of Foreign Manipulation and Disinformation Campaigns”.
Three keynote speeches will be followed by a roundtable discussion, which will be later opened to the participants. Simultaneous interpretation (English - Romanian) will be provided.
The conference will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest, Old Town.
Germany is a member of the Media Freedom Coalition, a network of more than fifty countries that advocates for press freedom and the protection of journalists.
