The Chinese-Tanzanian-Relationship is multilayered and longstanding. Since more than five centuries it reached from cultural, economic and medical to military spheres. For the 50 years anniversary of the diplomatic relations in 2014 the Chinese President Xi Jinping referred to Tanzania as an “all-weather friend”. According to him this friendship enriched both partners.
