Workshop
Details
This August 2023 with the continuous support of KAS Thailand, SNA will implement such project in the format of a workshop series with eight high schools in four provinces in the north, northeast, east, and south of Thailand. Newly elected Members of the Parliament from each target area will be invited to deliver the keynote lecture to educate the young participants. As well, university lecturers on social and political science from each province will also contribute to the workshop as speakers in the lecturing session. The results of the project will meet KAS’ objective stating that the representatives of the legislative and executive branch in Thailand are sensitized to their representational and service functions towards the citizens.

10:30 – 12:00 Lecture on “Rights, Liberties, Duties, and Participation of the Youth according to the Constitution” by university lecturers

13:00 - 15:00 Group brainstorming on “Roles and Duties of the Parliament to Strengthen Democratic Citizenship with Consciousness on Transparency and Accountability” by Democratic Youth Network
