2020 Year-end Dialogue:
Green Recovery: Moving beyond the Pandemic
Photo Essay Exhibition: Through the Hard Time
Facebook Live from Bangkok Art and Culture Centre |Tuesday, December 22, 2020 | 10:00 – 16:00 (BKK Time)
One fundamental idea emerging worldwide in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak is that economic recovery, growth, and job creation on one side and environmental protection and climate change mitigation on the other side are not antagonistic concepts. The current crisis represents a unique opportunity to make progress on both sides - leading the world to rethink and achieve more global sustainability.
The news agency Bangkok Tribune, supported by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, is organizing a year-end conference to address the concept of Green Recovery that has continuously been discussed both in Thailand and international community. This is meant to integrate natural assets into the recovery packages as well as the long-term development path.
This conference together with photo essay exhibition is the finale of a series of Media Dialogues on current Thai, regional, and global developments organized by the Bangkok Tribune and the KAS. It will take place on Tuesday December 22 at 10:00 onward (Bangkok Time) at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). Facebook Live from the venue will start at 10:20 and the conference will be conducted in Thai language.
To participate in the conference, please send an email to Thasuthida.thetthong@kas.de. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the conference either online or at the venue (in accordance with social distancing measures), and how to take part in the Q&A sessions with the panelists.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
