On 4 July 2019, the seminar was held in Chonburi Province on the topic of ‘Future of EU Parliament after the EU Election’ about the changing landscape of European politics: fragmented parliament, the rise of nationalist and populist, and the multiple challenges such as migration, faltering economic growth, Brexit and its own internal divisions. Students from Burapha University as participants of the event gained knowledge and analytical framework from the expertise, Prof. Dr. Marco Brunazzo from the University of Trento, who elaborated the EU Parliament Election as a route for shaping European agenda.

On 13 July 2019, the seminar on ‘The Role of Millennial on Public Policy in 21st Century’ was held in Bangkok and successful as a fruitful discussion among young generation, academicians and policy makers. Thanks to technology and new media that facilitate the sharing of ideas and information, millennials tend to be able to command their way to participate in policy process and civic engagement. Also, social media has become new political platform profoundly impacting voting behavior and policy perspective.

Upon the last event on 18 July 2019, a discussion in Phitsanulok Province was organised under the topic of ‘Thailand 2019 Public Policy Perspectives’ with political science students from Naresuan University as panel participants. During the current post-election period, Thailand is facing the challenge on public policy process in achieving well-being and fair distribution. This energetic discussion among academics and students brought about good insight towards the dynamic of policymaking.
