by Sabine Murphy

KAS USA was at the German American Conference at Harvard

The “transatlantic relationship at a crossroads” took center stage at this year’s German American Conference at Harvard — the largest student-led conference of its kind. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung USA supported the conference and welcomed CDU Federal Board member & former Berlin Senator for Culture, Joe Chialo.

With over 1,000 participants across three days, the event sparked bold conversations on AI, entrepreneurship, diplomacy, shared values, and the future of German-American ties.
Joe Chialo’s panel dove into the highs and lows of music, politics, and business. The speakers shared their professional and personal challenges and successes.
At Harvard Square and the Kennedy School, students and leaders from both sides of the Atlantic connected, shared ideas, and shaped the next chapter of transatlantic relations. KAS USA reached a new generation of transatlantic thinkers, fueling fresh enthusiasm for the German-American partnership.
