The European Single Market is one of Europe’s great achievements. It facilitates trade with global partners, creates new business opportunities, offers more choices and better prices to consumers, and is fundamental for European companies. Making the largest common marketplace in the world work better is not only a priority of the Juncker Commission, it is key to make Europe more competitive vis-à-vis other parts of the world.
