Energy, Climate Change and Sustainable Development: Unpostponable challenges

More than 25 people participated for 3 months in a Diploma offered by the University for Peace with the support of the Regional Program for Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The Diploma course was held at La Salle University in San José, Costa Rica.

The Diploma of University for Peace on Energy, Climate Change and Sustainable Development offered a space for learning and exchange of ideas, thus contributing to the promotion of discourse on these issues and the creation of innovative solutions.

More than 25 professionals of backgrounds such as engineering, law, political science, administration, education, journalism, economics and architecture participated in the 3-month diploma course at La Salle University.

The Diploma modules were divided into Fossil Energies, Renewable Energies, Climate Change and Sustainable Development. Costa Rican, Latin American and German professionals and professors from Costa Rica Limpia, Universidad de Chile, Universidad Central de Venezuela, Rurh Bochum University, ICE, Globaleq Mesoamérica Energy, UNDP, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, among others, were invited to participate.
