Frauen und Krieg
Ziel des Workshops ist es, Frauen aller Ethnien ein gemeinsames Forum zu bieten, innerhalb dessen sie sich treffen und gemeinsame Standpunkte zur Rolle von Frauen in Kriegszeiten und - wichtiger noch - in der Friedensarbeit zu entwickeln.

Der Workshop betont den Einfluss von durch Frauen geführten Unternehmen auf die Wirtschaft des Landes und veranschaulicht wie außerhalb Kenias Fortschritte bei der Einbindung der Zielgruppe in die Wirtschaft erreicht wurden.

Förderung des Bewusstseins für bürgerliche Mitbestimmung
Die neue Verfassung hat zu einer umfassenden Reform des Regierungssystems geführt. Viele Kenianer kennen jedoch noch nicht alle Aspekte des neuen Systems. Der Workshop zielt darauf ab, die Teilnehmer über Wege der Bürgerbeteiligung zu informieren.

Zum Jahrestag des Mauerfalls am 9. November 1989 organisiert die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Kenia einen Workshop über das Thema Diktatur und die Auswirkungen des Regimes in Ost-Deutschland auf das heutige Leben in Deutschland.

Der Film spielt einige Jahre vor dem Mauerfall in Berlin. Ein Stasimitarbeiter wird mit der Observation eines Schriftstellers und seiner Geliebten beauftragt. Immer mehr wird er in deren Leben hineingezogen und beginnt seine Arbeit zu hinterfragen.
