“Gender Equality and Climate Change Mitigation in Parliaments in Asia”.
In 2024, the Asian Women Parliamentarian Caucus members will be meeting to discuss “Gender Equality and Climate Change Mitigation in Parliaments in Asia” looking at the confluence on how women parliamentarians can engage together to share experiences from their country discuss policy priorities and campaigns, center frontline experiences, and coordinate for urgent needed action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

A Comparison of Drivers of Radicalisation in Asia and Europe
From the 13th to 14th January 2020, the Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia/Singapore will host the high-profile academic conference titled “United by Violence, Divided by Cause? A Comparison of Drivers of Radicalisation in Asia and Europe” in Singapore. A group of renowned professors from various disciplines will discuss the similarities and differences of radicalisation and political violence in Asia and Europe. What are the differences between radicals and perpetrators of political violence in Europe and Asia, what do they share and what makes them violent after all? These questions are treated at the conference and the subsequent workshop.

The report of the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation makes a set of actionable recommendations in different fields of digitalisation Konrad Adenauer Stiftung has been asked by the United Nations to support the UN’s inquiry about the countries‘ perspectives on the suggestions made by the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation.
