Details
As the first activity under the first phase of the project, the Kick-off Meeting brings together relevant stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, implementation plan, and expected outcomes to jointly shape the direction of digital public service development in Khon Kaen Province and northeastern Thailand. The activity will also feature a Special Lecture on Generative AI for Local Government Empowerment, Local Administrations’ Efficiency Enhancement, and Modern Public Services Development
In the big picture, the project aims to strengthen digital capabilities among relevant stakeholders as well as to deliver responsive public services to the citizens in an innovative and sustainable manner. Through on-the-job training and co-design approaches, the project will further enhance the existing “SILA Hug” digital public service platform, originally co-developed by Sila Town Municipality and COPA KKU.
The project is divided into three phases, as follows:
- Phase 1: Preparation Workshop and System Development Planning
- Phase 2: Co-Design Workshops; Delivering and Producing System Development
- Phase 3: Output Presentation, Evaluation, Knowledge Transfer, and Scaling-Up
The Kick-off Meeting focuses on introducing the project objectives and action plan, assessing the existing system and user needs, while identifying and analysing key pain points to develop a concrete action plan and direction for subsequent system development and co-design activities.
The outcomes of Phase 1 will provide the foundation for Phase 2, where stakeholders will work together to develop and test improvements to the platform.
