Curso de Direitos Humanos

Com o objetivo de desenvolver conhecimentos sobre Direitos Humanos no Brasil para um público amplo e de forma gratuita, a Fundação Konrad Adenauer, em parceria com o Centro Internacional de Direito Internacional – CEDIN, realizou no ano passado o I Curso de Formação prático-aplicada em Direitos Humanos no contexto brasileiro. É com muito prazer que gostaríamos de convidar todos aqueles que tem interesse em se aprofundar no tema e não conseguiram se inscrever no ano passado para assistir às aulas do curso que estão disponíveis gratuitamente a partir dos links abaixo. Política por inteiro - Analysis

Monitoring of Brazilian environmental policy

The "Política por Inteiro" project, with support from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Brazil, launches another outlook of the signals detected in the monitoring of Brazilian environmental policy. "Política por Inteiro" aims to provide a reliable, recurring and comparable data base on public policy signals and propositions in the environmental area in a "friendly" format and with credible data, and that creates a common "memory" about national decisions. Through the monitoring of government actions and rhetoric, systematic analysis of the situation and associated risks and the production and dissemination of information, it is intended to provide a tool to identify signals, interpret trends and consolidate them in an aggregate manner, using data science to inform citizens, advocacy networks and decision makers themselves. Every month there are also online events for the analysis of the situation. Die Auswirkungen der US-Wahl auf Brasiliens Außenpolitik

Angesichts des Wahlsieges von Joe Biden in den USA steht die Regierung Bolsonaro vor der Frage, ob eine strategische Neuausrichtung der brasilianischen Außenpolitik erforderlich ist. Der wachsende Einfluss Chinas in Lateinamerika dürfte auch in Zukunft ein Schlüsselthema für beide Seiten sein und bietet zweifelsohne Kooperationspotenzial. Bei Klima- und Umweltfragen könnte Brasilien eine zunehmende Isolation auf dem internationalen Parkett drohen, wenn keine Kompromisse gefunden werden.

Krise im Pantanal und Brände im Amazonasgebiet

Während der anhaltende Anstieg der Entwaldung in der ersten Jahreshälfte angesichts der alles überlagernden Corona-Krise kaum registriert wurde, führen alarmierende Nachrichten über Brände im Amazonasgebiet und dem Pantanal der brasilianischen Öffentlichkeit nun wieder schonungslos die Dringlichkeit der Umweltproblematik vor Augen. Auch auf dem internationalen Parkett – insbesondere im Hinblick auf das EU-Mercosul-Handelsabkommen, aber selbst im US-Präsidentschaftswahlkampf – spielt der Erhalt des brasilianischen Regenwalds eine Rolle.

Das Jahr 2020 wird wegen der Covid-19-Pandemie immer in Erinnerung bleiben, nicht nur in seiner gesundheitlichen Dimension, sondern auch wegen der Lähmung des produktiven Sektors und der daraus resultierenden Wirtschaftskrise. Die Lösung zur Milderung der Krise in ihrer gesundheitlichen Dimension wird bereits diskutiert, und das Problem der Wirtschaftskrise? Um mit möglichen Lösungen dazu beizutragen, das Szenario abzuschwächen oder sogar das gegenwärtige Panorama der brasilianischen Wirtschaft umzukehren, enthält diese Publikation acht Texte im Format eines Policy Papers. Zu den behandelten Themen gehören: Fragen zum makroökonomischen Szenario, zur internationalen Einbindung und zum Außenhandel Brasiliens, zur Bedeutung und Rolle des Energie- und Industriesektors sowie der Finanzen auf subnationaler Ebene.
