Approximately 120 KAS alumni currently live in Brazil. Keeping in touch with our former scholarship holders who frequently hold important positions in Brazilian society is one of the tasks of our regional office. Although the majority of our alumni, comprising of leading figures in politics, business and science as well as the arts, live in the South and South West of the country, there are some who make their living as far out as in the Amazon region.
