Alumnus Carlos Möller at KAS symposium in Italy

Alumnus Synodal pastor Carlos Möller represented Brazil at the symposium “God, Money and Credibility” organised by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

Alumnus Carlos Möller accepted the invitation by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung to participate in the symposium “God, Money and Credibility” in the study centre Cadenabbia near Como in the Lombardy that is owned by the foundation. The synodal pastor was a speaker in the discussion “Social responsibilities due to wealth in different religious traditions”.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organised the symposium “Money, God and Credibility” and invited numerous national and international church dignitaries. Alumnus Carlos Möller represented his home continent as the only Latin American participant and gave a speech on Social Responsibility of religious communities. He supported his talk with practical examples from his time as a pastor in the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil (IECLB), who he presides as the first vice president.

Synodal pastor Carlos Möller was a scholarship holder of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Begabtenförderung der Stiftung and preached in the 1990s in a protestant town near Nuremberg. Besides his activities in the IECLB the alumni is the president of the National Council of Christian Churches of Brazil (CONIC). He is particularly committed to social project in Sao Paulo State and investigates socio-ethical questions of Christian practices.
