Perspectives beyond the crisis, European security strategy and Europe as a global actor were at the centre of the gathering. Hosting partners were the Konrad Adenauer Foundation the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and the Nato Defence College. In their efforts to guarantee a high quality event, they were supported by the delegation of the European Union to Brazil. And indeed, the numerous public was presented with concise views and interpretations of the challenges at hand by a set of brilliant panels of lecturers and experts from all corners of the Atlantic World.
