Details

EU-Turkey cooperation on migration has long been a central topic in EU migration governance, including lessons learned as well as continuous challenges. Ten years after Europe’s refugee crisis in 2015, there is plenty of reason to take a look again at where Turkey and the EU currently stand in their cooperation on this critical issue and to ask where this cooperation may be heading in the future. KAS Europe is therefore delighted to be hosting Professor Mehmet Gökay Özerim from Yaşar University in Izmir on Turkey’s Aegean coast, one of the focal points of the 2015 refugee crisis.
