EU-Turkey cooperation on migration has long been a central topic in EU migration governance, including lessons learned as well as continuous challenges. Ten years after Europe’s refugee crisis in 2015, there is plenty of reason to take a look again at where Turkey and the EU currently stand in their cooperation on this critical issue and to ask where this cooperation may be heading in the future.
