The Jordan Office of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in cooperation with the Amman Center for Peace and Development plans a workshop where Jordanian and Palestinian experts will discuss scenarios for state relationships between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and a future Palestinian State.

The establishment of a Palestinian State and a comprehensive peace agreement can be expected to lead to challenges for the neighboring countries and especially to Jordan being the host country with the largest number of Palestinian refugees. Jordan needs to be well prepared to address the issue of refugees along with all other final status issues. The workshop aims at making policy recommendation for the form of the relationship between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Palestinian State, taking into consideration cooperation opportunities in the field of economy and security.
