Workshop

The uprising in the Arab World – What happened, what’s next?

Participation is upon personal invitation only.

Details

The current uprising in the Arab world is the most dramatic political mass movement since the 1989 fall of the Berlin Wall. They are opening the door for region-wide political and economic reforms. However uncertainties as to their outcome and design persist.

On the 6th of May, 2011, KAS, in cooperation with the American University of Beirut, holds a workshop to discuss the possible causes and outcomes of this uprising.
