On the occasion of the second EPP-ED/ KAS EuroMed Parliamentary Network Meeting, Hans-Gert Pöttering, President of the European Parliament, emphasizes the need to deepen mutual trust in order to be more successful in tackling common challenges. Together with Wilhelm Staudacher, General Secretary of the KAS, he is opening the international conference “Towards a Euro-Mediterranean Region Full of Chances: EuroMed Free Trade Are 2010 and a Common Migration Strategy” hold 18th to 19th March 2007 in Tunis and bringing together 11 MEPs and more than 15 deputies from the Southern shore of the Mediterranean.
