The Royal Government of Cambodia committed to transferring waste management functions to the Municipal/District level in the Kingdom by issuing the Sub-Decree No. 113 on Solid Waste Management in Urban Areas in August 2015. To assess and better understand the process of implementing the Sub-Decree, the National League of Commune/Sangkats, with technical support from KAS Cambodia, has gathered experiences and lessons learnt for documenting the current practices and challenges related to waste management at M/D level in Cambodia.
