On June 12, 2025, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Lebanon celebrated the conclusion of the National Affairs and Leadership Continuation Program, marking the graduation of 14 participants who completed an extensive political education track tailored for future Lebanese leaders.

Originally launched in summer 2024, the program was temporarily interrupted due to the outbreak of war in the region. Nevertheless, it resumed in April 2025 with renewed commitment and was brought to a successful close during a final session hosted by Karim Chaar.

Throughout the program, participants engaged with leading experts and practitioners in a series of in-depth seminars addressing Lebanon’s political history, institutional frameworks, regional dynamics, and the fundamentals of public leadership. Sessions were delivered by renowned speakers including Dr. Makram Rabah, Me. Karim Daher, Pr. Habib Malek, and others—covering themes such as sectarian identities, media and soft power, corruption, economic governance, and constitutional law.

The program concluded with a session on reforming Lebanon’s banking sector, followed by a graduation ceremony moderated by the Lebanese National Convention Board.

The graduation of this dedicated cohort affirms KAS Lebanon’s commitment to fostering responsible leadership, civic engagement, and democratic values among the next generation of political actors.
