Therefore, now more than anytime we need to rethink the energy strategy, to build a forward-looking sector that can help Lebanon get out of the meltdown as smoothly as possible.

The role of oil and gas sector in Lebanon, the Latest developments: geology, geography and geopolitics, the governance opportunities and challenges, the future directions, the role of Renewable energy sector in Lebanon (un-exploited potentials and opportunities) as well as the state of the Electricity sector in Lebanon at the heart of reforms were among the key discussed topics.

All these topics are interconnected and interlinked, and definitely all sectors have been affected by the mismanagement of the political class. That is the discussion was divided between current status and recommendations for the future.
