This Adenauer Media Lecture is a collaborative initiative of KAS Media Africa and the Wits Centre for Journalism at Wits University.

This lecture explores the dynamic landscape of television in the multimedia era, featuring esteemed speaker Prof. Dr. Claudia Nothelle.

Prof. Dr. Claudia Nothelle is a renowned expert in television journalism, with extensive experience in both academia and industry. As the former Multimedia Program Director of Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (ARD/rbb) and currently serving as Professor of television journalism at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nothelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the discussion on multimedia developments in television.

Following the lecture, there will be a Roundtable discussion focusing on the curriculum perspective of journalism education.
