The principles were formulated within the conference and workshop "The truth dies first", organised by the Media Program South East Europe of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. The experts’ meeting took place in February in Sofia, Bulgaria. Current tendencies and the professional practice of war reporting were main topics of the discussions.
