KASpaces Introduction

KASpaces is an innovative programme that will provide and facilitate a shared engagement space among political parties and citizen movements/civil society organizations.

Through KASpaces, we intend to provide and facilitate a shared engagement space among government officials, political party representatives and citizen movements/civil society organizations. The aim of this progamme is to break the silos among different democratic actors and establish a collaborative framework in the region in addressing the sustainable development goals and other societal aspirations from the local level. 

KASpaces will have two project themes, Goal 4 on Education, and Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities of the 2030 Agenda. There will be two level of interactions. We will start with national seminars in each country followed by a regional conference in the year end.  

The aim of KASpaces to achieve the following objectives:

Promotion of collaboration and cooperation between various stakeholders in addressing the sustainable development goals and other societal aspirations. 

Build capacities of various stakeholders through networking and skills upgrading workshops

Identify the common challenges faced by countries in Asia in achieving the SDGs goals and to find a collaborative framework through in addressing the sustainable development goals and other societal aspirations.
