After 2 years of in-person meeting hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic, the KASYP - Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians will return to Germany and explore the post-pandemic challenges and opportunities faced by political parties in the country and Europe, in general this coming 4-9 June 2023.

KASYP Module 4 - Political Parties in European Parliamentary Democracy

A delegation 19 young Asian politicians will conduct a learning visit in Berlin and Thuringia this coming June 4-9, 2023 as the culminating programme of their political leadership training under the Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia. This learning visit is the 4th of module of the KASYP programme where participants are expected to learn about the political and economic system of Germany which will cover topics on democracy, federalism, and the social market economy. Other topics to be tackled will be international party cooperation, public media, migration and social integration, youth participation, federal, regional, and local governance, etc. Participants will also have an opportunity to dialogue with leaders from the federal, regional, and local governments to exchange best practices in good governance and political leadership.
