ATAC stands for the Timiș Anti-Corruption Academy, that aims at developing a local anticoruption network. The summer school addresses public servers and all professionals that work for the local community or in relation with a public service in Timiș, Arad and Caraș-Severin counties. During the courses, 20 participants aged from 22 - 45 ani will further develop their knowledge and skills concerning legal means of fighting corruption in the public institutions they work in and, overall, in their local communities.
The initiative will make the participants more responsible in completing their tasks in the public service and will increase visibility and command in using legal instruments for fighting corruption. The school calls for professionals affiliation to a common set of values and thus encourage citizens trust in the public service.
