On 7 February 2026, the Young Parliamentarian Forum (YPF) and the closing ceremony of the eighth edition of the Young Parliamentarian Programme (YPP) will take place in Manama under the patronage of H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council. The Forum brings together young participants, members of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, programme partners, and key stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue on pressing social, economic, and regulatory issues in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Building on a year of training, policy discussions, and applied learning, the YPF provides a platform for youth to present proposals and recommendations on topics including the regulation of artificial intelligence and audiovisual media, environmental information disclosure, and the organisation of voluntary work. Implemented by the Youth Pioneer Society (YPS) in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s Regional Programme Gulf States (KAS-RPG), the programme aims to strengthen civic engagement, accountability, and informed participation among Bahrain’s future leaders.
