LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR POLITICAL PARTIES IN SELECTED COUNTRIES OF SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

This booklet provides information on the legal framework that regulates the establishment and functioning of political parties in selected countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. It also provides comparable provisions from former colonies namely France, Great Britain and Germany. The booklet is enriched by the impressions of various staff members of KAS in the field who provide information on the aspiration as espoused in the legal framework and the reality on the ground.
