In 2024, the three partner organizations - SNA, UNDP Thailand, and KAS - will work together in eight upper secondary schools across the country through this workshop series. Another important aspect of this activity is giving opportunities to Members of the House of Representatives from various constituencies to present their legislative works as parliamentarians as well as progress of debates in resolving citizens’ complaints through the parliamentary sessions. In doing so, the target youth can learn more about the MPs' roles and responsibilities which will be very helpful and encouraging for them in civic participation process according to the principles of participatory democracy.

9:00 – 9:30 Opening ceremony and keynote address by Members of the House of Representatives

10:30 – 12:00 Lecture on “Rights, Liberties, Duties, and Participation of the Youth according to the Constitution” by university lecturers
12:00 – 13:00 Lunch break
13:00 – 15:00 Group brainstorming on “The Functions of Parliament to Strengthen Democratic Citizenship for the Sustainable Development” by Democratic Youth Network
15:00 – 15:30 Post-test and evaluation
15:30 – 15:45 Closing ceremony by School Directors
