On 28 August, the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) kicked off the journey towards the 15th My Better Country Hackathon with its first pre-hackathon meeting! This year, OPDC, with the support from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Thailand Office, is bringing together a strong network of public-sector and academic partners, including Office of the Council of State (OCS), Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), National Statistical Office (NSO), Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) and College of Innovation, Thammasat University (CITU).
The Hackathon aims to provide a platform for citizens, especially the youth and GovTech-interested, to share their perspectives and experiences on ongoing public sector development actions and help identify and prioritise the most urgent challenges that need to be tackled with.
During today’s meeting, academic consultants from each agency discussed the activity theme and the way forward to bring about the best results towards the expectation. The OPDC will assist each agency in setting the focal topic before exchanging with each other again on the 2nd pre-hackathon meeting to set up the final subject
