The event will be on 26 February 2025 (Wednesday), at 4 pm-7 pm. According to the scheduled programme, the following lectures will be held:

 

4 pm – 4:10 pm Welcome speeches by Péter Krisztián Zachar (Vice-Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies) and Michael Winzer (KAS) (TBC)

 

4:10 pm – 5 pm: Germany on the road to change:

- Péter Dobrowiecki (MCC, Hungarian-German Institute): Three years of the traffic light coalition – roundabout ways in migration policy

- Gyula Speck (Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies, Department of International Relations and Diplomacy): Germany as a leading power? Changing perceptions of Germany's role in the shadow of the Zeitenwende

- Tamás Csiki Varga (John Lukacs Institute for Strategy and Politics, LUPS): Unmanaged internal crises - German defence policy and the failures of the Bundeswehr

- Péter Krisztián Zachar (Vice-Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Public Governance and International Studies): The Shifts in the Franco-German Axis.
