The Konrad Adenauer Foundation hosted a conference together with the Philosophical Research Institute of Hanover – the first institute in Germany which is supported by the Church. The conference focused on the role of Christian Churches in four "anchor countries" in Latin America and Africa. This paper is a resumé of the diverse issues discussed during the conference.
