MODELS OF TRANSFERABILITY TO THE MENA REGION

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Brussels, together with the KAS Regional Programme for Energy Security and Climate Change (REMENA) Morocco, has invited a delegation of young academics, researchers and experts from governmental administration and promising start-ups in the area of water preservation and pollution management from the MENA region to a one-week study dialogue programme on “Innovations in Water and Waste Management – Models of Transferability to the MENA Region”. The program is scheduled to take place in Cologne, Bonn and Brussels from 25nd to 29th of March 2018.

The aim of this dialogue programme is to familiarize our guests with innovative European solutions for the challenges the MENA region is facing in the context of water scarcity and pollution as well as misguided waste management. A particular focus lies on possible transferability options to the African context. During the dialogue programme the delegation will meet with representatives of the European Union and German as well as Belgian experts on Water and Waste Management.
