The Asian Women Parliamentarian Caucus is a network of Asian women parliamentarians from across Asia who have been meeting annually since 2011 to promote, strengthen and develop female political leadership in the region through policy discussions and capacity building workshops. Through country-based sharing on legislative advocacy towards nationalising the SDGs agenda along with a dialogue between CSO's and our network of women parliamentarians, we hope we can find strategies needed to strengthen women’s participation in respective countries and the region as a whole.
