From Ambition to Action: Strengthening Biodiversity Governance and Financing
In Recognition of the International Day for Biological Diversity
On May 22, in observance of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) New York Office, in partnership with the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the UN, convened a breakfast roundtable, “From Ambition to Action: Strengthening Biodiversity Governance and Financing.” The discussion brought together representatives from the United Nations system, Member States, international financial institutions, and civil society to examine how global biodiversity commitments can be translated into stronger governance, better financing, and practical implementation ahead of COP17.
