Das euro-atlantische Forum für Demokratie und Sicherheit: Our Freedom and Yours wird im Rahmen der vom Institut für Strategische Studien initiierten Reihe der Internationalen Krakauer Sicherheitskonferenzen veranstaltet. Die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung ist seit vielen Jahren Partner in diesem Projekt, und in diesem Jahr umfasst die Zusammenarbeit auch die NATO, die Jagiellonen-Universität und den General Marshall Fund.

Wirtschafts- und Energiewende im Kontext des Krieges in der Ukraine
Deutsch-polnisches Seminar zur Sozialen Marktwirtschaft
Ziel des diesjährigen Seminars ist eine wissenschaftliche Debatte über die aktuellen Chancen und Herausforderungen der Wirtschafts- und Energiewende in Europa unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Auswirkungen des Krieges auf die ukrainische Wirtschaft auf der Grundlage empirischer Untersuchungen sowie theoretischer und konzeptioneller Entwicklungen. Experten aus Polen, Deutschland, der Ukraine, den USA, Österreich und der Slowakei wurden zur Teilnahme an dem Seminar eingeladen. Das Seminar wurde auch durch die Förderung der Stiftung für deutsch-polnische Zusammenarbeit mitfinanziert.

A Restart for the German-Polish Relations in times of the Ukraine Conflict

In this project, two groups, consisting of young decision-makers who aspire to become active in German-Polish relations, will meet in cultural and political institutions of Germany and Poland, to discuss current issues in German-Polish relations with renowned experts of diplomacy and politics. The participants will get the opportunity to take part in vivid discussions and exciting presentations that will provide them with deep insights into the matter. Additionally, the participants will use the newly acquired knowledge in case studies and workshops, to develop solutions. In the end, they will be ideally prepared to take matters into their own hands, to contribute actively to German-Polish relations.

Zum zweiten Mal nimmt die KAS am Forum des offenen Regionalismum teil, dessen Grundidee ein Dialog zwischen Kulturen aus der Perspektive der Vielfalt, Unterschiedlichkeit und gemeinsamer Akzeptanz ist. So ein Dialog ist die Grundlage der Demokratie, wie Prof. Robert Traba schreibt.

Am Vortag des Jahrestages der ersten teilweise freien Wahlen in Polen am 4. Juni 1989 nahm die KAS am Fest für Freiheit und Bürgerrechte in Danzig teil, indem sie den Film "Adam Strzembosz der erste Richter der Republik Polen" zeigte und ein Zwiegespräch mit Prof. Strzembosz organisierte.

Forum EUROPE WITH A VIEW TO THE FUTURE is an international socio-political project. Participants debate the current condition of Europe and Europeans. It is a meeting of heroes and creators of change, representing different generations, disciplines and perspectives. They all share a common concern for the future of the European Union and the ambition to act effectively in countries bordering on the community – primarily the Eastern Partnership countries and the Western Balkans. The Forum – a response to the need for European reflection, attracts a range of experts as well as those interested in a public debate on the current challenges of our continent.

CEE and the European Union. A new balance of power in light of Russia’s war in Ukraine?
The ‘CRACOW-WORKSHOP’ for Politicians and Experts focusing on Central Eastern Europe
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Poland invites to an international KAS-Workshop on "CEE and the European Union’ with highly regarded politicians and experts from eight countries - Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine. The political power of this region is immense and cooperation among each other and within the European Union is crucial in the face of Russia's war in Ukraine. The ‘CRACOW-WORKSHOP’ aims to strengthen EU's capability to act, to network relevant decision-makers and scientists in order to promote European coherence and to discuss further ways to provide even more effective support to our neighbours in Ukraine. Central Eastern Europe as a key area, different formats of ‘minilateralism’ within the region and the different perspectives in CEE on the European Union will be discussed. Furthermore, the focus will be on a stronger support for Ukraine, particular political and social challenges for Ukraine and Poland, and the role of Think Tanks in addressing CEE-related issues. The event will take place on 24-25 April 2023 in Cracow.

Die Schule für politische Führungskräfte ist ein Projekt, das eine offene, gemeinwohlorientierte politische Bildung umsetzt, deren primäres Ziel es ist, politische Prozesse zu gestalten, Menschen darauf vorzubereiten, aktiv zu werden, mitzuregieren und Verantwortung für Staat und Gemeinschaft zu übernehmen.
