Parliamentary Exchange, Innovation Partnerships and Economic Resilience

BERLIN – As Viet Nam pursues ambitious goals of innovation-led growth, digital transformation and sustainable development, institutional quality, economic resilience and international cooperation have become increasingly important policy priorities. Against this backdrop, a study tour to Germany organized by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Vietnam from July 6–10 brought together Vietnamese lawmakers, policymakers, researchers and academics to exchange views with German counterparts on governance, innovation and the future of the Viet Nam–Germany Strategic Partnership. The delegation included representatives from the National Assembly, the Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies under the Central Commission for Policy and Strategy, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and academia. Reflecting KAS Vietnam’s role as a platform for policy dialogue, the programme connected Vietnamese stakeholders with German legislators, government officials, business leaders, researchers and academic institutions.
